Founded in 2001 in Paris, Hecate was responsible for defending and promoting the collaborative work undertaken in 1960 between Georges Braque and Heger de Loewenfeld, co-authors of  Bijoux de Braque, exhibited at the Palais du Louvre (Paris), from march to may 1963. 

Loewenfeld, lapidary and creator of fine jewelery, left his archives and the management of his studio in Hecate, which became the only authority to authenticate the work of Braque's Jewelry.

With this experience, Hecate has expanded its business area to include museum quality avant-garde, art deco period jewelry, and late 19th century to late 20th century decorative arts and design.
